Dr. Chan is a Specialist in Periodontology. She graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 2009. She then obtained her Master degree in Periodontology from HKU and Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015. She completed comprehensive training in advanced periodontal and implant treatments and became a Periodontist in 2018.

Dr. Chan runs a private clinic specialized in periodontal and implant treatments. She is the director of The Perio Clinic. She is also an Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry of HKU. With her work solely in periodontology and implant dentistry, she is experienced in advanced periodontal surgeries, implant surgeries and implant complication management.

Dr. Chan is skilled in the field of regenerative surgeries and mucogingival plastic surgeries. She has lectured extensively in numerous dental and medical conferences. She has several publications in periodontics. As a member of the Straumann woman implantology network (WIN), she is also appointed as the vice chairlady of the Women Dentist Group and treasurer of the Estate Dentist Group of the Hong Kong Dental Association.
