Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be sent to CDE by email to courses@cde.hk or by phone to +852 84811770

Refunds may only be made subject to our absolute discretion or in accordance with any applicable rules or policies that may apply from time to time. 

Refunds will be issued as follows:

Cancellations.

Prior to 1 week before the course start date: 50% refund 

Prior to 1 month before the course start date: 80% refund

Registrations can be transferred to a different name for a fee of HKD 500. To do so, please contact CDE with an email to courses@cde.hk. CDE reserves the right to reject individual registrations.

Arrangement during Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Warning Signal No. 8 or above

For courses that have NOT started

• If either of the Typhoon Warning Signal No.8 (or above), “Extreme Condition” or the Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted or in force at or after 6:00 a.m.  All courses commencing before 1:45 p.m. will be cancelled automatically. 
• If either of the Typhoon Warning Signal No.8 (or above), “Extreme Condition” or the Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted or in force at or after 11:00 a.m.  All courses commencing after 1:45 p.m. will be cancelled automatically. 

For courses that have already started

• When Hong Kong Observatory issues the Pre-No.8 Special Announcement.  All courses should be completed as soon as possible, the venue should then be closed after clearance.
• When Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is hoisted.  Services will be provided to members who have arrived and are at the clinics.

*Staff will try to contact members and arrange re-appointment if necessary.
