Sinus Lift Mastery: Elevating Open and Closed Techniques with Digital Precision

Course Highlight:

Sinus Lift Mastery: Elevating Open and Closed Techniques with Digital Precision

Abstract:

Sinus lift surgery remains a cornerstone for restoring implant opportunities in the posterior maxilla, and both open and closed techniques continue to deliver excellent outcomes when applied with the right indications. Evidence consistently supports the predictability of open sinus augmentation for cases with severely limited bone height, offering high implant survival rates and long term stability. At the same time, closed (crestal) sinus lift has evolved dramatically, with studies demonstrating comparable success in moderate height cases while reducing morbidity and recovery time.

Today, digital dentistry is accelerating this evolution. Computer vision–assisted closed sinus lift—supported by emerging data on enhanced accuracy, reduced membrane perforation risk, and improved workflow control—is reshaping how clinicians approach minimally invasive augmentation.

This fast paced 2 hour seminar dives into when and why to choose open vs. closed sinus lift, how digital tools elevate both techniques, and what the latest evidence means for everyday implant practice.
