The Straumann TorcFit® Connection: Predictable Outcomes with 5-Year Clinical Validation
The Straumann TorcFit® Connection: Predictable Outcomes
with 5-Year Clinical Validation
Abstract:
Discover results from a 5-year multicenter study validating
the long-term success of the Straumann® TorcFit® connection with Straumann BLX™
implants. Presented by Prof. Dr. Dr. Christian Walter and Dr. med. dent. Morse
Bayadse.
Learning objectives:
1.
Present the Straumann® TorcFit® connection as the
standardized interface for Straumann iEXCEL™ implants and its role in
simplifying restorative procedures.
2.
Understand the concept of platform standardization: one
drilling protocol, one insertion tool, and one prosthetic connection across
implant lines.
3.
Explore the mechanical and biological principles of the
Straumann® TorcFit® design, including stability and microbial sealing.
4.
Explore the significance of the 5-year multicenter clinical
study—a major milestone confirming the long-term performance, and
predictability of Straumann BLX™ implants with the Straumann® TorcFit®
connection.
5.
Review clinical case examples highlighting treatment
flexibility, and long-term outcomes.
