Soft and Hard Tissue Management Around Dental Implant in Aesthetic Zone

Course Highlight:

Soft and Hard Tissue Management

Around Dental Implant in Aesthetic Zone

Abstract:

Successful dental implant outcomes in the aesthetic zone rely on meticulous management of both soft and hard tissues to achieve optimal functional and cosmetic results. This presentation explores contemporary strategies for enhancing tissue stability and aesthetics around dental implants in anterior regions. Key topics include techniques for preserving and augmenting peri-implant bone through guided bone regeneration, bone grafting, and minimally invasive surgical approaches. Soft tissue management will cover flap design, connective tissue grafting, and the role of provisional restorations in shaping gingival contours. Emphasis will be placed on evidence-based protocols to minimize tissue recession, ensure harmonious gingival margins, and achieve natural-looking outcomes. The discussion will also address challenges such as thin biotypes, inadequate bone volume, and patient-specific factors, offering practical solutions for predictable results. Case studies will illustrate clinical applications, highlighting interdisciplinary approaches involving prosthodontics and periodontology. This session aims to equip ITI Study Club members with actionable insights to optimize implant success in the aesthetic zone, balancing biological principles with aesthetic demands.
