Understand the Rationale of Non-surgical and Surgical Approaches for the Management of Peri-implantitis
Abstract:
The workshop includes (A) a short lecture on the background and rationale, including a decision-making guide, for the effective surgical management of peri-implantitis. And (B) practical exercises of a couple of surgical approaches on specially designed models.
By the end of this lecture participants will be able to:
- Understand the rational of the various treatment steps in management of peri-implantitis.
- Recognize the appropriate surgical approach (resective, regenerative, or combination) for each specific case.
