This Study Club Meeting aims to familiarize participants with essential terminology in the field of implant dentistry and highlight their significance in clinical practice. Understanding the concept of platform switch and its impact on peri-implant tissue health, indications and protocols for successful immediate implant placement, different implant loading protocols and their influence on treatment outcomes, the importance of achieving a stable and biologically compatible supracrustal complex, techniques for creating an optimal emergence profile for natural-looking restorations and other terms in implant placement.
